Basic Deviled Eggs Recipe with Variations



6 Extra-large eggs

¼ cup Miracle Whip

¼ teaspoon salt

Dash of pepper

Paprika (optional)



Hard cook the eggs (I prefer using an egg cooker for consistent results). Cool and refrigerate until cold. Gently crack and peel the shells.

Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and separate the whites from the yokes.

In a medium sized mixing bowl, mix egg yolks, Miracle Whip, salt, and pepper.

Scoop the spread by teaspoon and place into each of the egg whites and sprinkle each egg with a dash of paprika (optional).
